Job summary

LBS Bina Group Berhad is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead site planning, scheduling, coordinating project works, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and local regulations. You will review value engineering and control costs while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Responsible for delivering civil design outputs through proposal and project delivery stages, and for liaising with consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure smooth progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7–10 years site works experience in property development.
• Positive attitude with ability to organize, plan and meet deadlines.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with own transport.

Responsibilities

• In-charge of planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating all the project related works.
• Must be able to plan and secure authority approval for the project before launching.
• Review and conduct value engineering for architecture, infrastructure and M&E work before tender calling.
• Control project cost as per feasibility study and reduce VO works.
• Overseeing architecture/building works to meet project standard requirements.
• Deliver civil design engineering work efficiently and on time during proposal and project delivery stage.
• Check and monitor overall sub-structure/structuring works, architectural and M&E works.
• Ensure on-site construction works are per drawings and local regulations.
• Ensure workmanship and quality meet KPIs during construction.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure smooth progress.
• Plan and obtain authority clearance for CCC on time / ahead of schedule.
• Manage and resolve all defect complaints during DLP stages.
• Prepare and compile weekly and monthly project reports.
• Perform minor design calculations, drawings and reports.
• Prepare billing certificates and letters to Architect.
• Other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job description

Checking and monitoring overall sub-structure/structuring works, architectural and M&E works

Ensure that on-site construction works are carried out as per drawings and specifications and comply to local regulations and requirements.

Ensure the workmanship & quality of building achieve required KPI during construction stage.

Liaise with consultant, contractor and local authorities for project related matters and requirements to ensure the smooth implementation of work progress

Responsible to plan and obtain all the authority clearance for CCC on time / ahead of schedule.

Able to manage and resolve all the defect complaint during DLP stages.

Prepare and compile weekly and monthly project related report

To perform minor design calculation, drawings and report works

Prepare billing certificate and letter to Architect.

Other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution

Minimum 7 - 10 years of site works experience in property development environment

Possess a positive attitude, ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, multiple tasks and work well under pressure

Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia both verbal and written

Able to work independently and also good teamwork

Possess own transport
