Job summary

AFED DIGITAL SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Malaysia to drive digital transformation and technology delivery for large-scale client engagements. The role involves steering multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, and ensuring project outcomes meet client expectations.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of delivering projects within scope, on schedule, and within budget, with strong governance and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Develop project charters, plans, schedules, resource allocations, and delivery milestones.
• Manage project execution and ensure alignment with defined objectives and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address delays, issues, or dependencies.
• Ensure project outcomes meet client expectations and business requirements.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Conduct project review meetings, steering committee sessions, and progress updates.
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong customer relationships and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and financial performance.
• Monitor project profitability and utilization rates.
• Ensure efficient deployment of project resources and delivery teams.
• Support commercial discussions related to project scope and change requests.

Governance, Risk & Quality Management

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and escalation matters.
• Ensure compliance with project management frameworks, governance standards, and organizational policies.
• Oversee quality assurance activities and project documentation.
• Conduct project closure reviews and lessons-learned sessions.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising consultants, technical specialists, and project resources.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance project environment.
• Mentor junior project managers and project team members.
• Support capability development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project management, consulting, digital transformation, or technology delivery environments.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects, programmes, or strategic client engagements.
• Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
