Job summary

EDRA Power Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure quality and compliance across project deliverables, oversee supervision activities, and implement QA frameworks in line with Edra’s standards. The role mitigates risks and enhances supervision throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and has at least 3 years in power generation with QA leadership experience, plus willingness to travel locally and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Power Generation industry and 3 years in quality management/supervision.
• Proven knowledge of QA methodologies, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems to uphold project standards.
• Monitor project performance against established quality benchmarks and guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify and resolve quality concerns.
• Ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

The position is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of project deliverables, overseeing supervision activities, and implementing quality assurance frameworks to meet Edra’s organizational and industry standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining high project standards and mitigating risks, while ensuring efficient supervision processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement quality management systems to uphold project standards.
• Monitor project performance against established quality benchmarks and guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify and resolve quality concerns.
• Ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• To liaise and support with all other departments in Power Plants, Head Office and Regional Office related to the key responsibility areas of the job.
• Comply with all applicable SHEQ legal requirements and our stakeholders’ specifications by establishing policies, programmes and practices in order to conduct operations in a healthy, safe and environmentally sound manner with safety first, quality foremost & pursuing excellence.
• To perform other additional tasks that are relevant and necessary to accomplish the company overall objectives, which may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification and Competency (License)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical or equivalent).

Work Experience

Minimum years of working experience related to the work scope:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Power Generation related industry and 3 years of experience in quality management, supervision, project oversight.
