Job summary

Savelite Engineering is seeking a capable Electrical Engineer to plan, manage and implement Electrical & ELV services for projects in Selangor, Malaysia. The role involves preparing Construction, Shop drawings and As-built drawings for M&E systems, and ensuring works meet contract specifications.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1–2 years’ experience, strong proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD, and good command of Bahasa

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related field experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Good in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong analytical, design, project management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and implement Electrical & ELV services for projects.
• Prepare Construction, Shop drawings and As-built drawings for M&E systems.
• Ensure works comply with contract specifications.
• Coordinate, monitor and review construction progress.
• Assist pre-contract & tender division with tender support.
• Inspect and report installation works completed by contractors.
• Verify subcontractor progress and prepare progress claims.
• Filing of ISO-compliant forms, documents and records.

To participate in planning, managing and implementing Electrical & ELV services for projects.

To prepare Construction, Shop drawing & As built drawing for M&E System.

To ensure works are done as per contract's specification.

To assist pre-contract & tender division with tender support for Electrical & ELV services/project support.

To coordinate, monitor and review construction work progress.

To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed.

Inspection and reporting of installation works completed by Contractor.

Ensuring all materials delivered to site conform with the approved specifications and Contract requirements.

Identifying all outstanding work to be carried out timely to meet the timeline stipulated in the Contracts.

Identifying potential problems and delay at site and report regularly to superiors on the progress of works.

Filing of all relevant forms, documents, reports, correspondence and records in accordance with ISO requirement.

To verify subcontractor, claim progress and prepare progress claim for submission to client/consultant according to site monthly progress.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 1-2 years working experience in related field is required
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD
• Good in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Good in Analysis, Design skills, Project Management and Procedures, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management and Supervision.
