Job summary

EPS Malaysia seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to support a project from initiation to customer acceptance. You will assist the Project Manager with planning, organizing, and coordinating activities, and help negotiate and execute contracts and subcontracts.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment layout designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations; generating status reports; reviewing design changes; maintaining the project schedule; and applying engineering practices to solve

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Excellent knowledge of design and 3D CAD software, example Autodesk Inventor/Autocad.
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

Responsibilities

• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, summarising information and trends; recommending actions.
• Assist project manager in controlling the project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plant and schedule changes; recommending actions.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Generates solutions based on good engineering practice, which may be beyond current practices and procedures.

Job description

Responsible to assist Project Manager in the overall management of a project from initial to final acceptance by customer. This includes, but is not limited to all planning, organizing, and controlling the coordination activities, contract and subcontract negotiations and executions, establishment and maintenance of a cohesive project schedule. Supports engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; preparing reports and calculations.

Job duties

Requirements

BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant field.

Good communication skills: verbal, written reports and presentation in English.

Excellent knowledge of design and 3D CAD software, example Autodesk Inventor/Autocad.
