Job summary

Radiantvolt Sdn Bhd seeks a Project Engineer to join our demanding engineering team in Petaling Jaya. You will help deliver complex projects from concept to completion, working with senior engineers and project managers to meet high technical standards.

You will plan activities, prepare documentation, conduct site inspections, and collaborate with clients and suppliers to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Strong CAD skills and a solid engineering foundation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification
• 0–3 years of post-graduation experience in project engineering or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, standards and best practices relevant to project delivery
• Proficiency in using project management tools, CAD software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and systematically
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with capability to work effectively in diverse teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional certifications such as PE status or membership with engineering institutions would be advantageous
• Experience with engineering software relevant to your discipline (such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD or similar) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating engineering project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Preparing technical documentation, drawings, specifications and project plans in accordance with company standards and client requirements
• Conducting site inspections and monitoring works to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve project issues
• Performing engineering calculations and analysis to support design development and problem-solving
• Assisting in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates and schedules
• Supporting quality assurance activities and ensuring adherence to health, safety and environmental standards
• Maintaining comprehensive project records, documentation and correspondence
• Identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies to minimise project delays or cost overruns
