Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a leading global systems integrator recruiting for a Project Engineer role in Malaysia. The position involves implementing and commissioning security equipment, drawing with AutoCAD, and ensuring high project quality across multinational deployments.

You will provide technical support to Sales and internal teams, engage with clients, and conduct on-site training to guarantee proficient use of security systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in security/electronic project implementation.
• Experience in multinational environments preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and program security equipment per standards.

Work Location: Puncak Alam / Elmina

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Position: Project Engineer

Responsibilities

Project Implementation & Technical Execution

• Install, test, commission, and program security equipment in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Manage projects to ensure successful completion while maintaining high engineering project quality.
• Utilize AutoCAD to design security systems and create detailed building diagrams.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide technical support and assistance to Sales and other internal departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to security systems.
• Maintain a high level of up-to-date knowledge in security concepts.

Client Engagement & Training

• Conduct on-site training sessions for clients to ensure proficient system use.
• Display a strong focus on client service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in security, electronic, or small electronic project implementation and commissioning.
• Previous experience working in a multinational environment is preferred.
• Possess basic IT knowledge in security hardware, networks, and databases.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
• Technical experience with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products/systems is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco, or S2 systems is a clear advantage.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills with a quick learning ability.
