Job description

Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Develop and prepare mechanical designs and drawings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications.

Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets based on current project and team needs

Review and verify design drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and design standards.

To conduct site measurement and prepare engineering & fabrication drawings.

Generate bills of materials (BOM) based on design drawings.

Work closely with the fabrication team to identify potential operational issues and propose design improvements.

Perform quality checks during fabrication and installation stages.

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in Mechanical System Design and Drafting.

Strong ability to conceptualize and develop preliminary designs.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Solidwork & AutoCad is compulsory.

Willingness to travel to project sites.

Experience in water/ wastewater treatment industry is an added advantage.
