Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Project Controls professional to manage project cost control, forecasting, financial reporting and performance monitoring across engineering and consultancy projects.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Finance teams to ensure projects stay within budget and financial performance is accurately tracked. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, EAC, and reporting using Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Power BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 4–7 years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Project Accounting or Project Finance.
• Experience in engineering consultancy, construction, infrastructure or data centers preferred.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and project financial management.

Responsabilités

• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments and forecasts.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Perform variance analysis and support monthly project reviews.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and reporting.
• Support change management, invoicing, revenue tracking and cash flow forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with project controls processes and governance requirements.
• Support Project Managers with cost and performance insights across multiple projects.

Your impact

The Project Controls individual is responsible for project cost control, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance monitoring across engineering and consultancy projects. Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Project Accounting, or Project Finance.
• Experience within engineering consultancy, construction, infrastructure, or data center environments preferred.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and project financial management.
• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, Power BI (advantageous)
• Cost management systems such as AutoPAP or CSP (advantageous)
