Job summary

LW Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate the progress, and ensure safety and quality. You will work with the Project Manager, inspect equipment and materials, manage vendors and subcontractors, and maintain accurate attendance and records.

Fresh graduates are welcome; Diploma in construction preferred, with 2 years on-site experience. Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of the site and review site diary reports.
• Supervise, coordinate, monitor, inspect and report daily of work progress on site.
• Work alongside the Project Manager.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of site, equipment and materials.
• Evaluate performance of vendors/suppliers/subcontractors and enforce disciplinary measures when needed.
• Supervise and record workers attendance and timesheets; maintain site attendance records.
• Brief, supervise and instruct the construction team as well as vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate construction employee attendance records.
• Analyse blueprints to ensure projects meet design, safety, and budget specs.
• Recommend changes to operations or procedures to improve efficiency.
• Control and monitor site cleanliness; ensure compliance with local regulations.

Job description

Oversee day to day operations of the site, understanding site diary reports.

Supervising, coordinating, monitoring, inspection & reporting daily of work progress on site

Work alongside with Project Manager

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of site, equipment & materials

Evaluating the performance of vendors/suppliers/subcons and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.

Supervise and evaluate vendors/suppliers/subcons & keep accurate records of workers attendance and timesheets & maintaining an accurate record of site attendance

Briefing, supervising and instructing the construction team as well as vendors/suppliers/subcontractors.

Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.

Analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.

Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

Control and monitor site cleanliness & work place comply to applicable local authority regulations.

Site Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma/Certificate in a construction related field especially interior design works.

Minimum 2 years on site project coordination.

Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor.

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

Must have understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, MS Excel & MS Project.

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.

Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

Good attitude, can work in team and good communication skills.
