Job summary

XP Power is seeking a Process Engineer to support SMT programming and optimization for production lines in a power supply manufacturing environment. You will set up and optimize pick-and-place programs, feeders, orientations, and nozzle changes, while validating machine programs for new PCB designs and variants.

You will collaborate with Production, Process, and Quality teams to improve yield, troubleshoot line issues, and maintain comprehensive setup documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical, industrial engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of process engineering experience in a Power Supply factory.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Honest, careful, agile, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize SMT for motor, SPI and AOI for production lines.
• Create and optimize pick-and-place / mounting machine programs.
• Set up feeders, tape orientations, and perform nozzle changes.
• Validate machine programs for new PCB designs and product variants.
• Support production runs including troubleshooting, changeovers, and line balancing.
• Analyze and mitigate placement errors, feeder issues, and component wastage.
• Work closely with Production, Process, and Quality teams to improve yield and performance.
• Maintain documentation including setup sheets, machine parameters, and change logs.

• Graduated University degree in Electronic/Electrical, industrial engineering; Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3‑5 years of experience in process engineering in Power Supply factory.
• Skilled in using Excel, Word, Auto Cad, Solid works, SAP system
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Honest, careful, agile, have a high sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure
