Successful candidates will hold a PhD in Media and Communication with a strong publication record, plus evidence of grant activity; ASEAN media context exposure is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• PhD in Media and Communication with 8+ years in academia/industry.
• Proven leadership in academia or professional practice.
• Strong teaching methods and use of technology in learning.
• Excellent written and spoken English in academic settings.
• Knowledge of Southeast Asian/ASEAN media landscapes an added advantage.
• Strong research track record with ISI/SCOPUS publications and grants.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and pedagogy.
• Design and deliver high-quality teaching and assessments to optimise learning outcomes.
• Mentor postgraduate students and supervise research projects.
• Lead or participate in research projects, publications, and grants.
• Engage in administration and external linkages to enhance university reputation.
