Job summary

Taylor's University in Malaysia invites applications for an academic appointment at the Associate Professor level in Accounting. The successful candidate will teach, design and develop teaching materials, deliver lectures and tutorials, supervise students and contribute to curriculum development.

A PhD in Accounting or related fields is required, together with a strong publication track record and evidence of coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

PhD from a recognised university in Accounting or related fields.
Minimum five years of teaching, research or industry experience.
Strong publication record in SCI/SCOPUS journals in last 5 years (3–5 papers).
Experience securing research grants as Principal Investigator.
Minimum h-index of 5 on Scopus.
Experience in higher education with curriculum development and coaching/mentoring.
Experience developing teaching methods and IT-enabled learning materials.

Responsibilities

Deliver teaching and related duties including design and development of teaching materials.
Conduct classes, tutorials and assessments and provide student consultation.
Contribute to high-quality programme and curriculum development.
Plan teaching strategies to enhance student learning and motivation.
Support postgraduate research projects and scholarships.
Engage in departmental and faculty administration and service.
