Job summary

BD is seeking a professional to manage training and development for Direct Labor associates in Kulim, Malaysia. The role involves planning, executing, and assessing training programs, ensuring high competency levels within the team.

The ideal candidate will maintain communication with production partners and design effective training materials. This position emphasizes a structured approach to training and development while sustaining BD’s Excellence People framework.

• Plan and execute trainings and re-training for various types of Direct Labor trainings.
• Perform periodic assessments and monitor associates’ performances.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Orientation for new Direct Labor hires.
• Plan and execute trainings and re-training for On-Job, Cross Training, Periodic Training, Certification and Re-certification of Direct Labor. Manage overall competency for Direct Labor.
• Perform periodic assessment and monitor associates’ performances and evaluate effectiveness of training programs, providing evaluation and recommendation for improvement.
• Coordinate training administration e.g. filing, updating training matrix, organize employee training records.
• Maintain good communication and working relationship with production partners in areas assigned.
• Sustain BD Excellence People framework for Manufacturing training.
• Design and develop training content and material for technical training.
• Publish and prepare reports on training delivery and effectiveness for associates’ development and progress.
• Other activities required and relevant to the position and to the Manufacturing processes.
