Job summary

Saraspice Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, servicing, and basic troubleshooting while minimizing downtime.

The role also covers installation, testing, calibration, relocation, and commissioning of equipment, monitoring performance, and keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Certificate/SKM in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field.
• Must be able to communicate, read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Technical qualifications or training in machinery maintenance, facilities maintenance or occupational safety and health (added advantage).
• Experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair of machinery or equipment (added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain production machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Attend to machinery breakdowns and technical issues to minimise downtime and disruption to operations.
• Assist with installation, setup, testing, calibration, relocation and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machinery performance and identify maintenance, repair, replacement or improvement needs.
• Maintain proper records of machinery inspections, maintenance, repairs, breakdowns and other technical activities.
