Job summary

GBM ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Technician to operate production test equipment, troubleshoot defects, and support EMS manufacturing in Perak.

You will monitor test performance, drive yield improvement, maintain 5S and a safe environment, and collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on NPI testing and ISO QMS compliance. Experience in electronics manufacturing and English/Mandarin communication is valued.

Qualifications

• STPM / Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in test engineering.
• Experience in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
• Able to evaluate product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Good communication in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate production test equipment and troubleshoot defective products.
• Monitor test performance and drive yield improvement.
• Debug and control WIP inventory.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance for machines.
• Repair breakdowns on machines.
• Support test program version changes based on engineering requirements.
• Create WI & SOP for new NPI products.
• Work with engineering and cross-functional teams on NPI testing.
• Provide test logs and information to customers when required.
• Ensure compliance with ISO QMS requirements.
• Follow production schedules during debugging and repairs.
• Maintain a 5S, safe, and clean working environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
