Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, organize, and monitor subordinates' daily tasks on the production floor, ensuring proper execution and adherence to SOPs. The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience, the ability to work on shift rotations, and a focus on safety, QA approvals, and equipment maintenance, including PLC operations and tank cleaning scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma or SPM with relevant working experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 3 - 4 years of working experience in relevant industry.
• Able to work on shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and follow up on subordinates' daily tasks to ensure proper execution.
• Verify and review correct practices and preparation steps carried out by subordinates.
• Arrange and supervise tank cleaning according to the planned schedule.
• Obtain executive approval for chemical adjustments and ensure all changes are properly recorded.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, segregation, and FIFO practices for all chemicals and materials.
• Confirm raw materials are tested and approved by QA before production use.
• Train and supervise group leaders and operators on all departmental activities.
• Monitor safety, health practices, housekeeping, and adherence to company rules and regulations.
• Oversee plant PLC operations, equipment functionality, servicing, and report malfunctions to Maintenance.
• Assist R&D, support subordinates on process issues, and perform other tasks assigned by executives or manager.
