Job summary

Prodelcon Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, allocate manpower and machines, and ensure targets, quality, and delivery schedules are met.

You will ensure operators follow SOPs and safety rules, coordinate with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve issues, monitor output and efficiency, train staff, maintain records, and drive 5S and continuous improvement across the production area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing environment, preferably precision engineering or CNC machining.
• At least 2 years supervising production operators or teams.
• Good understanding of production processes, planning, manpower allocation and daily scheduling.
• Able to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Candidates with relevant working experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precision engineering or CNC machining.
• At least 2 years of experience in supervising production operators or production teams.
• Good understanding of production processes, production planning, manpower allocation and daily production scheduling.
• Able to monitor production output, achieve daily production targets and ensure timely completion of production orders.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently, take initiative and work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
