Job summary

JAC Recruitment International’s client, a global manufacturing organization, seeks a Production Section Head in Penang, Malaysia. You will oversee all production functions to ensure smooth, compliant operations and drive improvements in quality, cost and delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, an engineering degree, and strong communication skills, with knowledge of ISO standards and MS Office. This position offers a full-time, on-site role in Penang.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality systems and ISO standards is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and initiatives

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of Production Operation ensuring policy compliance and efficient manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with supporting departments to drive projects improving product performance, quality, cost, and delivery
• Ensure operators meet Units Per Hour targets and optimize material utilization
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve PI targets
• Determine competence requirements for personnel handling chemicals and waste
• Identify training needs and develop operator competencies to meet KPIs
• Resolve issues in production promptly and enforce 5S across all areas
• Ensure compliance with RBA and Supplier Code of Conduct requirements
