Job summary

Emerson Automation in Malaysia is seeking a highly organized Production Scheduler to develop and execute daily and weekly production plans. You will balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.

Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve material, capacity, and delivery issues, drive schedule adherence, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost throughput and reduce cycle time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; Excel and Power BI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
• Prioritize and sequence jobs based on demand, capacity, and constraints.
• Monitor schedule attainment, WIP flow, and production performance.
• Manage production escalations and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material, capacity, and delivery issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve throughput, cycle time, and delivery performance.
