Job summary

Benchmark Electronics in Malaysia is seeking a Planner II to support production scheduling and material planning, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient use of manufacturing resources. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or materials planning.
• Experience in manufacturing environments; EMS or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and production planning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory and capacity.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing and warehouse to ensure material availability.
• Analyze demand, capacity and inventory data to optimize planning.
• Expedite critical orders and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Track production performance and identify risks to delivery.
• Maintain planning parameters and ERP system data.
• Prepare production planning reports and communicate status updates.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance planning efficiency and inventory management.
