Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of PCB design for production.
• Proficient with Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD.
• Experience with mixed-signal circuits, power supplies, and interfaces such as I²C, SPI, UART, and USB.
• Hands-on prototype board bring-up and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiar with DFM principles and IPC standards.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in high-speed PCB design (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, or RF) desirable.
• Python scripting for BOM management or design automation desirable.
• Familiarity with EMC testing and regulatory requirements such as CE, FCC, or SIRIM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar EDA tools.
• Select suitable electronic components and maintain the BOM.
• Coordinate prototype builds and board bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare production files, including Gerber files, BOM, assembly drawings, and test documentation.
• Support contract manufacturers during prototype, NPI, and production stages.
• Improve existing PCB designs for cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Develop board-level production test procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain PCB design standards, component libraries, and technical documentation.
