Job summary

Printpack in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to plan and prepare production schedules for efficient manufacturing. The role requires coordinating with production and fulfillment teams to meet targets while ensuring material availability for on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of production planning experience, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is highly organized with solid problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year experience in production planning
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task
• Well organized and results driver with great problem-solving skills
• Must be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and a high degree of personal integrity

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepares production schedules for manufacturing to optimize machine utilization to meet production target
• Supervise and release work orders issuing to meet shipment and production target
• Monitor and co-ordinate on material supply to ensure timely material availability to support production plan
• Review, monitor and report on factory capacity
• Utilize capacity plan when scheduling production and assessing new orders and opportunities
• Analyses and formulates report from production planning
• Participates in periodic meetings with Fulfillment team
• Require presence in the workplace on a regular basis
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
