Talent Recruit represents a leading multinational manufacturing company in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Simpang Ampat, Penang. We seek a highly analytical Production Planner & LMW Compliance Coordinator to develop schedules, secure material availability, and manage LMW reporting.

The role combines production planning with inventory control and strict customs compliance, requiring 3–5 years in manufacturing, experience with M3 ERP, and familiarity with Power BI for reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, business or related field.
• 3–5 years of production planning, materials planning or inventory management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems (M3 preferred) and LMW/trade compliance is a plus.
• Proficiency in BI/reporting tools such as Power BI is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand and delivery commitments.
• Monitor material availability, capacity constraints, and inventory trends.
• Coordinate production priorities with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality and Customer Service teams.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and reconcile ERP transactions; coordinate cycle counts.
• Coordinate and prepare LMW reporting and customs-related submissions; maintain related records.

Company Background:

We represent our client, a leading multinationalmanufacturing company based inBatu Kawan Industrial Park, Simpang Ampat,Penang. We are seekinga highly analytical and detail-oriented Production Planner & LMW Compliance Coordinator to support the growing manufacturing operation.

This role combines production planning, inventory management, and Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) compliance responsibilities. He/she will be responsible for developing production schedules, ensuring material availability, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating all LMW reporting and customs compliance activities.

Job Responsibility:

• Production Planning:Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Monitor material availability and capacity constraints.Analyze demand, production performance, and inventory trends.
• Coordinate production priorities with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
• Inventory Control:Monitor inventory accuracy and reconcile ERP transactions.
• Coordinate cycle count activities and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions within M3.
• LMW Compliance & Customs Reporting:Coordinate and prepare LMW reporting requirements, including M1, M2, M4, PTK, and other customs-related submissions as required.
• Maintain records supporting imports, exports, production consumption, inventory balances, and local sales.
• Serve as the primary site coordinator for LMW compliance activities.
• Liaise with external LMW consultants and Royal Malaysian Customs Department representatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, supply chain, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP systems (M3 preferred).
• Preferred: Experience with LMW, Free Zone, Bonded Warehouse, Customs, Import/Export, or Trade Compliance activities.
• Preferred: Experience with Power BI or reporting tools.
