Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production schedules and ensure on-time delivery for the assigned product family. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align material supply, production activities, and commitments.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required or encouraged for fresh graduates.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and departmental KPIs.
• Coordinate material supply, production activities, and delivery commitments to ensure on-time shipment.
• Communicate with customers on delivery schedules, sample requests, and order status updates.
• Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling issues with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain product and process master data and support budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and management system requirements, including participation in audits, training, and assigned company initiatives.

To perform the production planning function in order to render punctual delivery to customers for the assigned product family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and departmental KPIs.
• Coordinate material supply, production activities, and delivery commitments to ensure on-time shipment.
• Communicate with customers on delivery schedules, sample requests, and order status updates.
• Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling issues with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain product and process master data and support budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and management system requirements, including participation in audits, training, and assigned company initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

• Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Understanding of production planning, inventory control, or logistics concepts.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
• Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel Pivot Tables, Power Automate.
