Job summary

Jowat Group Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to perform production activities based on planning from the Production Manager or planner. You will operate and maintain production machines safely, ensuring HM products meet quality requirements.

Maintain a clean and safe workstation, report unsafe acts or quality issues, comply with HSE and IMS policies, and participate in recycling and environmental programs. 1–2 years' manufacturing experience and shift work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1-2 years working experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Able to work in shift.
• Healthy and fit, shows commitment and good discipline.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production activities based on planning from Production Manager or planner.
• Operate and properly maintain production machines and equipment safely according to SOP.
• Responsible and monitor HM products to conform to quality requirements.
• Keep workplace clean and tidy at all times and clean workstation safely.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions, near-miss events and quality issues to supervisor and act accordingly.
• Comply with safety and IMS policies or guidelines of the company.
• Practice safe workplace and environmental programs.
• Handle scheduled and non-scheduled waste materials according to procedures.
• Handle chemicals and their disposal or spillage according to procedure.
• Understand environmental aspects and their impacts; comply with HSE obligations.
• Participate in recycling and environmental programs; support audits and certifications.
• Perform any ad-hoc job given by superior.
• Able to work in shift.
