Job summary

Sime Kansai Paints Sdn Bhd is a chemical manufacturing and coatings company in Malaysia seeking a Production Operator to support daily production activities. You will handle raw materials, operate equipment, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Good reading, writing and basic math skills are required, and candidates must have proper color vision. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily production activities per Work Instructions and SOPs.
• Handle raw materials and operate production equipment safely.
• Ensure production targets are met with efficient processes.
• Conduct basic checks to ensure product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the production area.
• Comply with safety procedures, quality requirements and guidelines.
• Report equipment, quality, safety or production issues to Supervisor promptly.

Experience

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out daily production activities in accordance with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and production requirements.

Handle raw materials and operate production equipment safely and correctly according to assigned duties.

Ensure production activities are carried out efficiently to meet daily production targets.

Conduct basic checks to ensure products meet the required quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and good housekeeping in the production area.

Comply with all company safety procedures, quality requirements and operational guidelines.

Report any equipment, quality, safety, or production issues to the Supervisor promptly.
