An established process manufacturing organization is seeking an accomplished Production Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for a large-scale, continuous manufacturing facility operating on a 24/7 basis.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience gained within refinery, petrochemical, oleochemical, specialty chemicals, or other continuous process manufacturing industries, together with strong exposure to hydrotreating, hydrogenation, utilities, tank farm, terminal, or comparable operational environments.
This role is accountable for driving safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations while delivering production, quality, asset performance, and business objectives. The incumbent will lead a sizeable operations organization, champion operational excellence, and build a high-performance culture that supports sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness.
Key responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for plant operations to achieve production, quality, reliability, and efficiency targets.
Ensure operational activities are aligned with business objectives, customer commitments, and regulatory requirements.
Drive performance improvement through operational excellence, process optimization, and disciplined execution.
Lead operational decision-making during critical events, including start-ups, shutdowns, plant upsets, and business continuity situations.
Champion a culture of process safety, operational integrity, and environmental stewardship.
Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory, corporate, and industry standards.
Maintain effective risk management practices and operational controls across all production activities.
Lead the investigation of significant incidents and drive sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
Partner with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Technical teams to maximize plant availability and asset performance.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 15 years of experience within refinery, petrochemical, oleochemical, or other continuous process manufacturing industries
At least 5 years of experience in a senior operations or production leadership role managing 24/7 manufacturing operations
Strong understanding of process safety management, operational risk management, and manufacturing excellence principles.
Demonstrated experience in operational optimization, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and performance management.
Experience leading turnarounds, commissioning activities, and major operational improvement initiatives.
Sound commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, resources, and operational priorities.
Strategic and commercially astute leader.
