Alton Intelligent Technology Sdn. Bhd. is wholly foreign-owned by Alton Industry Ltd. Group, a US-based global supplier of household products and industrial tools, with a total land area of 45.25 acres.

The base in Malaysia has established a comprehensive complex of six full-featured factories. These factories integrate motor assembly, sheet metal processing, injection moulding, general assembly lines, and automated intelligent warehousing.

In addition to the core production and storage areas, it also carefully designed a five-story modern office building, two three-story canteens and activity centers full of life, and four five-story dormitory buildings.

About the role

As a Production Line Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations on the production line to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met. You will lead the team, optimize workflows, enforce safety, and collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient factory operations.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and coordinate daily production line operations to meet output and quality targets.
  • Assign staff positions appropriately and supervise attendance and discipline.
  • Monitor production progress and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and guide frontline staff to improve operational skills and safety awareness.
  • Enforce safety procedures strictly to prevent workplace accidents.
  • Record, compile, and report production data accurately.
  • Inspect equipment conditions and coordinate maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist supervisors in developing and executing production plans, and suggest improvements in efficiency and quality.
  • Motivate and lead the team, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
What we’re looking for
  • Over 2 years of experience in production line management or as a team leader in the manufacturing industry; experience in product assembly, metal processing (welding, painting) management is preferred.
  • Familiar with production processes, production scheduling, process operations, and quality management.
  • Experience leading a production team of 10 or more, with the ability to effectively assign tasks, supervise execution, and train subordinates.
  • Knowledgeable in workshop 5S management and safety regulations to ensure an orderly and safe production environment.
  • Able to quickly handle production abnormalities, equipment issues, and personnel allocation.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Management teams.
  • Highly responsible and able to work under pressure, maintaining efficiency in a high‑intensity production environment.
  • Proficient in English to convey production instructions and communicate across departments.
