Job summary

Premier Plastic Industry Sdn Bhd – Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Assistant to support the production supervisor, supervise daily operations on the floor, and help manage attendance, overtime, and production efficiency.

You will assist in monitoring quality performance, maintenance activities, and ensure safety and proper handling of materials. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to operating procedures on the production line.

Responsibilities

• Assist production Supervisor for the efficient use of materials, manpower, machines, and equipment.
• To supervise daily operations on the production floor.
• Supervise workers and manage their attendance and overtime.
• Assists in monitor manufacturing efficiency and quality performance.
• Assist in monitoring production efficiency and quality performance
• Assists to check plant maintenance activities to assure good housekeeping, safety and operating equipment in proper condition.
• Assist the Assistant Supervisor to monitor, organise and control daily Production. To be responsible for daily production output vs target given.
• To promote good teamwork and communication with staff and workers. rationalize consumption, storage, usage, handling and flow of material.
• To ensure safety and security of team members, equipment, material and environment.
• To patrol periodically and ensure that all workers follow safety rules and usage of PPE.
• Train new workers in the line to adhere on operating procedures and standards.
• Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary.
• Maintain Record of production output, quality and any incident or issue, and report the Supervisor.
