Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering/industrial engineering, chemical/process engineering, food science/technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, GMP, HACCP, or ISO standards is an advantage.
• SternMaid Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd is part of a German conglomerate with global operations in food ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Review existing production procedures, work instructions, checklists and identify outdated or unclear content.
• Observe production processes and verify steps with operators and supervisors to confirm GMP requirements.
• Collect and record production data; prepare summaries and reports for supervisor review.
• Highlight gaps and opportunities for process improvement observed during reviews and data collection.
• Support safety, food safety and regulatory compliance initiatives within the team.
• Assist senior staff with staffing assessments and training initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervision.
