Job summary

UPC Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Kuantan, Malaysia is seeking a PL2 Production Support Assistant to monitor daily production activities and track process operating parameters.

You will collect, compile and analyse PL2 production data, review performance against targets, identify deviations and opportunities for improvement, and assist in preparing daily production reports and process summaries while supporting process safety efforts and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile and analyse PL2 production data.
• Assist in reviewing production performance vs targets.
• Identify PL2 process deviations, recurring operational issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in preparing daily production reports and process summaries.
• Assist engineer in monitoring, analysing and evaluating PL2 unit consumptions of raw materials, chemicals, utilities and energy for cost reduction and process efficiency improvement.
• Assist PL2 team in strengthening process safety through process risk assessments.
• All other duties assigned by supervisor.
