Job summary

NL Metals Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail‑oriented Production Planner to manage daily schedules and coordinate between departments in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure materials, tools and PPE are available for the workforce, while maintaining accurate stock records and timely delivery

The role requires a basic level of computer literacy and English, with preference for applicants with experience in electronic manufacturing and MS Office proficiency. Relocation to Tampoi area preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM with 1 year working experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Basic English literacy required.
• MS Office knowledge preferred.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing preferred.
• Holding SPM or Sijil Kemahiran advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Record and coordinate flow of work and materials between departments.
• Examine orders for goods and prepare production schedules.
• Check inventories and prepare delivery schedules.
• Investigate and identify supply sources and prepare purchase orders.
• Count incoming stock and reconcile with requisitions and update inventory records.
• Ensure materials, supplies and PPE are available for daily activities.
• Comply with manufacturing procedures at all workstations.
• Provide safety equipment and monitor usage.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to Supervisor.
• Assist in quality-related DHR audits and stock reviews.
• Support improvement projects and staff induction.
