Job summary

ITW Meritex Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to maintain, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot product failures while driving continuous improvement across production lines. You will provide technical and engineering support to production, liaise with multiple departments and customers on quality requirements, and apply QC tools such as SPC, 8D, DOE and FMEA to enhance quality and yield.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent.
• Preferably with >2 years relevant working experience.
• Familiar with SPC, 8D, DOE, FMEA and other QC tools.
• Knowledge in Extrusion/Quality Assurance is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, analyze and trouble-shoot product failure and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Identify and facilitate new processes and procedures to increase quality and productivity yield.
• Provide technical and engineering support to production.
• Liaise with various department and customer on quality issues/requirements and escalation for improvement plans.
