Your Job

As a Production Engineer (ICM), you will lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor, ensuring production targets, schedule adherence, quality standards, and safety compliance are consistently achieved. This role serves as a first-line leader, driving workforce efficiency while supporting operational excellence.

Our Team

You will be part of the Production team within Molex Malaysia, working closely with operators, technicians, and cross-functional teams including maintenance and support functions. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor.

  Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Working knowledge of inventory and material control processes
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, PDCA)

  What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto)
  • Knowledge of cost control and waste reduction practices
  • Hands-on experience with 8D reporting and quality control tools
