Job summary

SEA Gamer Mall Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Analyst to support assessing the organization’s current state, direction, structure, and requirements. You will translate business needs into functional and technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to define problems and identify solutions.

You will review requirements with customers, provide gaming-ecommerce consulting, and ensure delivery aligns with functional specs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience analyzing business requirements and translating into functional requirements.
• Basic programming experience or knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
• Degree in IT, Engineering or Business majors.
• Fluent in BM, English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
• Comfortable interviewing and probing to gather information.
• Passion for gaming or experience in gaming industry.
• Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Possess project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assessment of the organization’s current state, direction, structure, and requirements.
• Prepare and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Work with stakeholders and project teams to define problems and identify solutions.
• Present, review and validate captured business and functional requirements with customers and stakeholders.
• Provide consultation to stakeholders on gaming e-commerce best practices.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams using communication to elicit, document, analyze and validate processes, systems, and requirements.
• Manage, monitor and update the development team on stakeholder priorities.
• Validate technical delivery for compliance to functional requirements.
• Assist in testing and validating new features to ensure they meet requirements and deliver an excellent user experience.
• Identify and resolve UI/UX issues using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts.
