Job description

We are strengthening our Electric Vehicle (EV) portfolio and are looking for a motivated Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of our electric 2-wheeler products. This role works closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery from concept through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Product Development: Drive end-to-end development from requirements definition, prototyping and validation to production readiness.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chian, Manufacturing, QA/QC and technology partners to ensure technical, cost and quality alignment.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Manage homologation and regulatory submissions (JPJ, MIROS, MARii) and ensure all product specifications meet required standards.
• Product Performance & Improvement: Monitor post-launch performance, analyze issues and implement improvements for quality, cost efficiency and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or related engineering field.
• 3-7 years of experience in product development, automotive / EV engineering, mobility solutions or related hardware industries.
• Familiarity with EV components (batteries, BMS, motor, controller, charging systems) is a plus.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and deliver projects on time.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and passionate about automotive, manufacturing and electric mobility.
