Job summary

Hytech Consulting Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Fintech Product Manager in Kuala Lumpur to own product discovery, roadmaps, and cross-functional alignment. You will translate business requirements into PRDs, prioritize the backlog, and drive adoption across sales, marketing and engineering.

You will lead data-driven analyses of user journeys, optimize onboarding, and partner with marketing to hit growth targets while leveraging AI-enabled productivity to scale delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Product Discovery & Roadmap Prioritization: Act as the strategic bridge to frontline sales and commercial teams. Gather raw business requirements, translate them into structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog based on business impact and engineering ROI.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central point of contact between engineering, design, marketing, sales, and executive leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment on priorities.
• Product Evangelism: Communicate the "why" behind the product vision to internal teams and external customers to build excitement and drive adoption.
• User Growth & Feature Ownership: Support MAU (Monthly Active Users) and user retention as core product goals. Define, build, and optimize product features, growth loops, and onboarding flows, collaborating closely with advertising, marketing, and sales teams to achieve conversion targets.
• Data-Driven Problem Identification: Perform deep-dive analyses of the user journey, funnel drop-offs, and behavioral data to uncover friction points and identify growth bottlenecks.

Qualifications & Critical Skills

• Strong Product Sense & Data Sensitivity: Proven ability to analyze user behavioral funnels, turn complex data insights into product hypotheses, and propose intuitive, user-centric solutions.
• Structured Logical Thinking & Execution: Excellent capability in breaking down ambiguous business problems into clean user stories, managing cross-functional alignment, and driving delivery across engineering and UI/UX squads.
• Extreme Ownership & High Agency: A proactive "push" influence style with a high sense of responsibility, capable of driving initiatives independently across departments in a fast-paced environment.
• AI-Augmented Productivity: Demonstrates the ability and mindset to leverage advanced AI tools and frameworks to accelerate product discovery, optimize PRD documentation, and continuously scale operational efficiency.
• Multilingual Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) to seamlessly align on technical requirements and business roadmaps with engineering and business stakeholders from Mainland China and Taiwan.
• Preferred Background: 3+ years of experience in Fintech Product Management, or product data analysis. Experience working within multi-brand/ jurisdictional setups or complex financial transaction funnels is a massive plus.
