Job summary

ams OSRAM Malaysia is seeking a capable Process Development Engineer to coordinate a team from development to mass production in LED/semiconductor assembly. You will set targets, monitor results, and provide technical support across production, marketing and sales to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 3–5 years of experience, and strong 8D, reporting and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in the related field
• Experience with R&D or NPI in LED or Semiconductor Assembly environment
• Highly motivated with strong sense of responsibility and commitment towards work
• Self-starter and independent
• 8D, Reporting and Presentation skill is a must
• Experience working in semiconductors industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of 6 sigma methodology, Process control and qualification is an added advantage

Job description

Sets up or manages the projects and agrees on targets, including set-up and monitoring results. Plans and administers work, ensuring maximum productivity and cost efficiency from development to product realization.
