Job summary

Seagm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Product Support/Assistant Manager to translate market insights into product requirements and user stories for our global gaming and ecommerce platform.

You will work with stakeholders, perform competitive analyses, document specs, and coordinate with technical teams, ensuring UI/UX improvements and successful UAT.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in product support, sales, or related business function.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, UX, IT, or related field.
• Strong Mandarin communication for collaboration with the China tech team.
• Analytical skills with data-driven product strategy.

• UX knowledge or certification is a strong plus.

Job description

• Support the Product Assistant Manager in defining product requirements, features, and user stories based on market insights and company strategy.
• Perform 'time-to-time' market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging market requirements and features in the global gaming and e-commerce landscape.
• Preparation and translation of business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications document for the technical teams.
• Working with stakeholders to define problems/requirements in key areas and identify potential solutions.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business processes, systems, and solution requirements.
• Monitor product performance metrics and gather user feedback to inform data-driven improvements and strategic updates.
• Identify and resolve UI/UX issues by creating process flows and user stories to illustrate design concepts.
• Validate technical delivery for compliance to functional requirements.
• Plan and execute user acceptance testing(UAT) for new features to ensure they meet requirements and deliver an excellent user experience.
• Manage and communicate stakeholder priorities to the technical team to ensure alignment.
• Identify and address potential issues or bugs proactively.

Job Requirement:

• 0-2 years experience (fresh grads with strong internships welcome) of proven experience in product support, sales, or a related business function, preferably within the e-commerce, gaming, or digital goods industry.
• Basic experience in programming and/or e-commerce platform knowledge would be an advantage.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, UX, IT or a related field.
• Strong communication skills across presentation, verbal, and written communication in Mandarin are required to work closely with the technical team in China.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, including experience with data analysis to inform product strategy and identify market opportunities.
• Strong learning ability with a proactive working attitude.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, eager to contribute to the growth of a digital product e-commerce platform.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering clear, structured presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva) to communicate research findings and product concepts.
• Prior experience or certification in UX principles (user flows, wireframing, or empathy mapping) to advocate for the user during product discussions is a strong advantage.
• Passion for gaming or experience in the gaming industry is a strong advantage.
• Possess project management skills is a plus.
