Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an energetic Product Engineer to own the product engineering launch cycle for our New Product Development portfolio. You will transition silicon from tape-out to high-volume manufacturing and navigate validation workflows to deliver robust ESD, TVS, and surge protection devices on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher required.
• Foundational understanding of hardware validation concepts, parametric testing, and semiconductor structures (diodes, FETs, ESD layouts) is valuable.
• 0–2 years of working experience.

Responsibilities

• NPD Pre-Launch Execution: manage checkout plans, test vehicles, and risk checklists.
• SWR & Sample Buildup: prepare samples for internal characterization and qualification testing.
• Silicon Validation & Characterization: compile and evaluate data for device reports across voltage/temperature.
• NPD Launch Timeline Tracking: partner with PMs to monitor milestones and ensure on-time releases.
• Yield & Capability Assessment: perform initial yield analysis and DOE studies to set test limits.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related field
