Job summary

Texas Instruments Melaka site seeks a motivated Product Engineer to own the product engineering launch cycle for our next-gen NPD portfolio. You will transition silicon from tape-out to high-volume manufacturing within the 12-month TMG Development CAP program, gaining hands-on experience from day one.

As part of TI's Career Accelerator Program, you will receive training and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to deliver robust ESD, TVS, and surge protection devices on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microelectronics, electronics, electrical, or computer engineering.
• GPA 3.3 or higher.
• Foundational knowledge of hardware validation concepts, parametric testing, and semiconductor structures (diodes, FETs, ESD layouts) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• NPD pre-launch execution: lead checkout plans, test vehicle prep, risk checklists.
• SWR and sample buildup for internal characterization and qualification testing.
• Silicon validation: compile and evaluate data for device reports at varying conditions.
• NPD launch timeline tracking with PMs to maintain on-time releases.
• Yield analysis and DOE to set production test limits and maximize yields.
