Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Wealth Management professional to implement unit trust strategies and manage onboarding, with responsibility for compliance and foe product enhancement. You will train staff, maintain key relationships, and drive product-related revenue growth across the regional network.

The role requires a university degree in finance-related field, 5+ years of wealth/investment experience, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office is essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement product strategy and business plans to achieve Unit Trust targets.
• Due diligence and product evaluation for unit trust onboarding; manage UTMC relationships.
• Provide training support to the ground.
• Manage relationships with counterparties and internal stakeholders to secure quality products.
• Provide feedback on research developments in the local financial services market.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
• Oversee formal training for frontline staff.
• Update product programs and policies.
• Prepare user requirement specifications for system enhancements.
• Builds banks’ investment products fee income, AUM, and overall sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement products strategy and business plans to achieve Unit Trust financial targets.
• Due diligence and product evaluation for unit trust on-boarding process and manage relationship with UTMCs to secure quality products, in compliance to regulatory requirement and internal guidelines.
• Provide training support to the ground.
• Manage business relationship with counterparties and internal stakeholders, with the objective of securing quality products.
• Provide feedback on research developments in the local financial services market place.
• Implement appropriate rules and guidelines to ensure all internal and external, legal, compliance and risk management requirements are met.
• Ensure that frontline undergo formal initial and on-going formal training requirements.
• Responsible for product program and policies update.
• Responsible for user requirement specification preparation for system enhancement.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or a related field
• Possess professional investment related certification will be added advantage.
