Job summary

Pelantar Insan (M) Sdn Bhd, established since 1996, is a building contractor specialising in pre-fabricated steel structure work projects. We are seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities.

The role requires coordinating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, maintaining records, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to meet project specifications. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement software are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Experience in structural steel or construction industry preferred.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute the purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
