Job summary

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement by category across telecom equipment engineering services, civil works, data center, managed service, logistics, etc.
• Source and qualify suppliers from the local market ensuring they meet requirements.
• Conduct category frame bidding, collect and analyze project demand, prepare bidding strategy, negotiate prices, and sign contracts.
• Oversee daily management of selected suppliers at project level and coordinate resources according to the project master plan.
• Maintain supplier relationships and communicate with senior management to build a healthy industry chain.

Job description

Category procurement:Handle procurement by category, such as telecom equipment engineering service, civil work, data center, managed service, logistics etc.

Supplier qualification:Source and qualify suppliers from the local market and ensure that the supplier qualification meets the requirements.

Supplier selection:Conduct category frame bidding, including collect and analyse project demand and business strategy, prepare bidding strategy, conduct bidding and price negotiation, prepare and sign contract.

Project procurement management:Responsible for daily management of the selected suppliers in project level. Establish supplier resources plan according to project master plan, coordinate suppliers to prepare resources according to the plan, solve procurement issues during implementation.

Supplier development:Maintain the supplier relationship, communicate with the senior management of the supplier, and build a good supplier relationship and a healthy industry chain.

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.

At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Candidate who are from Engineering background or Telecommunication industry related would be added advantage.

Willing to travel within Malaysia.

Good communication skill and team work.

Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries and operate successfully in an intense business environment.

Proactive, innovative, ability to communicate easily and effectively at all levels in the organization.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, good team player with a can-do attitude and problem solving skills.
