Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives for an electronics manufacturing client. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in end-to-end purchasing and supplier oversight.
• Experience in manufacturing, with semiconductor or technology exposure preferred.
• Direct experience with purchasing back-end semiconductor equipment (Bonders, Mold, Trim & Form, or Testers) and factory automation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of contract frameworks (MSAs, statements of work) and vendor performance metrics.
• Familiarity with cloud procurement technologies and spend data analysis.
• Strong collaboration skills to coordinate with multi-tier supplier networks and global partners.

Responsibilities

• Execute site-specific procurement activities, supplier identification strategies, and contract management processes for indirect material categories.
• Oversee commercial procurement pipelines for complex semiconductor equipment, including Die Bonders, Wire Bonders, Mold systems, Trim & Form equipment, Testing Machines, and factory automation systems.
• Spearhead commercial negotiations to achieve continuous cost-efficiency targets and oversee complex vendor contract frameworks.
• Supervise supplier operational execution, manage delivery performance metrics, and coordinate cross-functional mitigation strategies for material shortages.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to handle vendor non-compliance issues and manage the comprehensive onboarding process.
• Administer compliance workflows, facilitate internal process assessments, and maintain strict adherence to ethical procurement standards.

Skills and experience required

• Work background within manufacturing sectors, with preference given to experiences within semiconductor or technology environments.


• Direct experience or foundational understanding of purchasing back-end semiconductor equipment (Bonders, Mold, Trim & Form, or Testers) and factory automation systems is highly advantageous.


• Practical knowledge of contract frameworks, including master service agreements, statements of work, and vendor performance monitoring metrics.


• Proficient capabilities navigating tier‑one cloud procurement technologies and generating operational spend data assessments.


• Collaborative communication capabilities to align with multi‑tiered supplier networks and resolve operational escalations with global partners.
