Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries and account for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports.
• Stage merchandise by department, mark for placement, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department.
• Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
• Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing packages and mail.
• Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of packages.
• Follow all national, state, and local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations.
• Ship all outgoing mail and packages; verify quantity and condition upon receipt prior to delivery to guest.
• Communicate with guests regarding received packages; maintain tracking system on all transactions.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies; ensure professional appearance; protect company assets.
• Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones with proper etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds; move through narrow or elevated spaces; work on stairs and ramps.
