Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Procurement professional to research, evaluate, and source potential suppliers, comparing quotations to secure the best quality, price, and value for the company.

You will negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions; process requisitions, issue purchase orders, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate vendor records. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with project and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and source potential suppliers, comparing quotations to ensure the best quality, pricing, and overall value for the company.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Process and manage purchase requisitions efficiently, including sourcing, price comparison, issuance of purchase orders, and preparation of related documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services by tracking purchase orders and coordinating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, quantities, and vendor information to support cost control and operational efficiency.
• Monitor incoming goods and assess product quality and quantity to ensure compliance with approved specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams on material requirements, storage arrangements, delivery schedules, and other procurement-related matters to support project cost control.
• Maintain proper procurement documentation, records, and reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
