Dynaciate, a TECO Group company in Malaysia, seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for EPC, system products, equipment, materials, and related services.

The role oversees import/export coordination, shipment documentation, and customs compliance while collaborating with TECO Headquarters in Taiwan and regional procurement teams. Strong leadership and cross-border experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in engineering or industrial equipment environments.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with regional or international suppliers and cross-border procurement activities.
• Practical knowledge of import/export operations, shipping documentation, and customs processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for EPC, system products, equipment, materials, and related services.
• Develop sourcing strategies, identify and evaluate suppliers, conduct RFQ/tender processes, and lead commercial negotiations.
• Manage supplier selection, qualification, pricing, contractual terms, delivery performance, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely procurement in line with project schedules, technical specs, quality requirements, and cost targets.
• Lead import and export activities, including shipment documentation and coordination with brokers and forwarders.
• Ensure import/export documentation and customs processes comply with regulations and company requirements.
• Coordinate regional procurement activities with TECO Headquarters in Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
• Oversee logistics coordination prior to cargo arrival; post-arrival inland logistics handled by Logistics team.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, and risk.
• Identify cost-reduction, alternative sourcing, and supply-risk mitigation opportunities.
• Collaborate with EPC Project Management, Finance, Quality, and Logistics teams to support project execution.
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team with clear KPIs and accountability.
• Work across functions to ensure seamless procurement support for projects.

This role will also oversee import/export and customs-related coordination prior to cargo arrival, working closely with external customs brokers and freight forwarders.

The position will collaborate extensively with TECO Headquarters in Taiwan and procurement teams across Southeast Asia.

• Develop sourcing strategies, identify and evaluate suppliers, conduct RFQ/tender processes, and lead commercial negotiations.

• Manage all logistics-related coordination prior to cargo arrival at port; post-arrival inland logistics and delivery will be handled by the Logistics team.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, and supply risk.

• Work closely with EPC Project Management, Finance, Quality, and Logistics teams to support project execution.
• Coordinate regional procurement activities and sourcing opportunities with TECO Headquarters in Taiwan and procurement teams across Southeast Asia.
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team, establishing clear priorities, KPIs, and accountability.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain, preferably within engineering, industrial equipment, system products, manufacturing, or project-based environments.
• Proven people management and team leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance management.
• Practical knowledge of import/export operations, customs procedures, shipping documentation, freight forwarding, and customs broker management.
• Experience working with regional or international suppliers and cross-border procurement activities.
• Strong ability to work across EPC Project, Finance, Quality, and Logistics functions.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, written and spoken, is required due to frequent coordination with Taiwan HQ and regional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
