Job summary

Shin Heung Sec is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support daily purchasing activities, including PO creation, quotations, and delivery follow-ups. You will coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries and maintain comprehensive purchasing records.

You will monitor stock levels, assist with replenishment, and manage LMW-related tasks, including monthly/quarterly reports and accurate customs records.

Qualifications

• Assist in daily purchasing activities, including preparing Purchase Orders (PO), obtaining quotations, and following up on delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, consumables, spare parts, and other operational requirements.
• Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier databases, quotations, and procurement documentation.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and follow up on replenishment requirements when necessary.
• Execute the registration and classification of raw materials, machinery, and finished goods under the LMW license through the Customs system (U-Customs/SMK).
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment and clearance processes.
• Act as the primary Person in Charge (PIC) for LMW audits, customs verification, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure all purchasing and LMW documentation is properly filed and maintained in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Senior Purchasing Executive in purchasing and any other duties assigned from time to time

• Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers for shipment and clearance processes.
• Act as PIC for LMW audits, customs verification, and inspections.
• File all purchasing and LMW documentation according to procedures.
• Assist the Senior Purchasing Executive and take on additional duties as assigned.
• Register and classify materials under LMW license via Customs system (U-Customs/SMK).
